MUMBAI: Handsome hunk Gurmeet Choudhary has an avid fan following and is one of the most gifted actors in the entertainment industry. The actor has proven his talent throughout the years by starring in several TV shows and movies. Gurmeet starred in Khamoshiyan, his big-screen debut, in 2015. In 2018, he also starred in a movie called Paltan, which also included well-known television actress Dipika Kakar.
Gurmeet Choudhary talked extensively about his experiences in both his personal and professional lives during his chat show with Siddharth Kannan. Speaking on the same subject, Gurmeet went on to discuss his collaboration with Dipika Kakar in the movie Paltan.

Gurmeet recalled his working experience with Dipika Kakar, saying, "We had very few scenes together because the soldiers in Paltan film were often shown on the border. When there were stories about family, I got a chance to work with Dipika because we never worked together."
The Geet-Hui Sabse Parayi actor praised Dipika and added, "She is a very sweet girl. The way she worked hard, the scenes we did, we used to sit together and prepare for our scenes. During that time, she was supposed to get married."
Gurmeet recalled that Dipika was shooting for the film in Punjab even though she was supposed to get married a week after that. He shared, "The wedding preparations were going on and still, she used to come for the shoot in Punjab."
When asked whether he attended their wedding, Gurmeet said, "Yes, we went to their wedding. We were shooting at that time together so Debina (Debina Bonnerjee) and I both attended Dipika and Shoaib's wedding."
Gurmeet Choudhary discussed a variety of topics in the same interview, including his early years, struggles in his professional life, failure, achievement, and more.
On February 22, 2018, Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim tied the knot in an intimate wedding in Bhopal. In 2023, the couple decided to become parents and welcomed a son as their first child. Ruhaan is the name of Shoaib and Dipika's son.
