MUMBAI: TellyChakkar.com exclusively broke the news about Gurmeet Choudhary and Drashti Dhami’s Geet Hui Sabse Parayi returning to Television sets on Shemaroo TV. We got in touch with Gurmeet who played the character of Mann Singh Khurrana in the show wherein he spoke at length about various aspects of the show. In an exclusive chat with TellyChakkar.com, Gurmeet also revealed a fact that his entry was supposed to be aired later, however, the promo and a scene of Maan rescuing Geet was superhit thus, his entry in the show got pre-pone
Gurmeet said, “ I enter the show in the 11th episode and even now when you see the promo which is being run now by Shemaroo TV, I am not even there So, at that time when the show was being made, I was there for 10 min in the 11th episode and then my track was supposed to be introduced after around 3 months when Geet travels to the city but I still remember there was a scene in which Geet is drowning and I save her in the 11th episode. Post doing this I had gone for vacations to Goa. This Promo was aired on TV and then people realized that I was the same who had played Ram and that Promo became quite popular and thus channel decided to introduce my track from the 18th episode itself and I became Maan Singh Khurrana and after which I don’t remember a single day during the entire run that I didn’t shoot”.
Must say, Gurmeet gave life to Maan Singh Khurana.
