MUMBAI: Rumors regarding the relationship between singer-songwriter Guru Randhawa and singer-actor Shehnaaz Gill have dominated headlines for more than a year. Guru and Shehnaaz appeared together on the red carpet at the Thank You For Coming pre-release event, with the paparazzi making light of their evident chemistry. Though there was a lot of talk, neither Guru nor Shehnaaz addressed the rumors, and speculation finally subsided.

In a conversation with the popular news portal, he said, “I feel very good about it when people talk about my dating life. Fans link me with beautiful girls all over the world, so it feels great, every boy wants that attention.”
Their second song Sunrise was released in January of this year which increased fan curiosity. Also, followers frequently wonder about their relationship after seeing their adorable Instagram posts. Guru doesn't want to confirm or deny the rumors about his relationship with Shehnaaz, “I want people to keep doing that [talk about my love life] for me. Even if I am not dating somebody right now, because of that news, I might start dating someday soon. If the reader [of this interview] is a girl, I am single. But if the reader is a boy, I am taken.”
He had already cleared things up and disclosed his single status in an interview with the well-known news outlet. He did swiftly add that he is open to the idea of falling in love. “I’m someone who’s always in love. Love is a beautiful feeling. Everyone should fall in love. I think that even if someone doesn’t love you back, it shouldn’t deter you from feeling for them. After all, even one-sided love is love,” he had added.
He had disclosed that he had a special someone in his school and college life when reflecting on his teenage years. “I’ve had college crushes. Mere paas bhi aakhein hai aur dil hai (laughs). Much like everyone else, I had a special someone in college and even in school, there was a girl my eyes would keep searching for. In fact, my first date was on a bus on my way home from college,” Guru laughs and reveals his big crush on Kareena Kapoor Khan.
The singer recently acted in his first movie, Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay, alongside Saiee Manjrekar.
