MUMBAI: Helly Shah is one of the most renowned actresses who has extensively worked in the Hindi TV industry and has also made her presence in movies and OTT space. The actress entered the world of TV entertainment in 2010 with the show ‘Zindagi Ka Har Rang...Gulaal’.

As the actress carved her way to more performances, audiences got to witness her amazing performance in Swaragini, where she portrayed Swara Bose Maheshwari. The actress gained immense recognition later again with her performances in Sufiyana Pyaar Mera and Ishq Mein Marjawan 2.

In an exclusive interview with Tellychakkar, Helly Shah opened up about her life, her struggles and her achievements. There are aspects of her life which aren’t known to her fans and one of those aspects is about her audition stories.

Helly Shah talked about her times when she used to give auditions and said, “Mom, dad, Mukesh uncle, matlab sab hum saath mein aate the, pura jhund aata tha mere saath. Like I’ve come to auditions with like five of us together. Kai bar mummy bolti thi ki ek saath office mein nahi ja sakte, people will get scared ki itne log kaise aa rahe hai audition ke liye. But I remember all those days, train mein aati thi, kai baar ticket nahi milti thi, toh aise hi aap neeche so kar aa rahe ho and all of that and again this is something I’ve not talked about and abhi main karungi na toh logo ko lagega ‘ha ab sympathy chahiye’ and yeh woh. Initial days mein, main flight mein baithi, aisa tha nahi ki har baar flight mein travel kar sako toh hum humesha train se aate the and Mumbai Ahmedabad is a very busy route. Aapko ticket nahi milti hai...aur agar aana hi hai toh then you have to roam around TC ki please ek confirm ticket dedo ya...toh matlab I’ve travelled that way. Kahi baar neeche aise hi chaddar bichha ke so kar aaye hai, and all of that but these are the days that make you realize that you’ve come a long way.”
