I am not very talented - Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan
When a floppy haired guy with wiry frame and average looks landed in Mumbai little did anyone know that he would one day become the 2nd richest actor in the world. It is not for nothing that Shah Rukh Khan is often called the King of Bollywood. Even b?te noire Salman doesn't have any qualms in acknowledging the same. What's significant to note is that SRK is average when compared to other Bollywood stars. Neither does he have the good looks of Salman nor does he have the towering presence of Amitabh Bachchan. True that his acting skills were good but what probably contributed to SRK's success is that he got the right platform to showcase his little talent and take it forward. At the launch of Colors Got Talent World Stage Live, a live talent show, the finale of which he would be hosting, SRK urged the need to give every small artist a platform to perform so that the world can take note of their talent. Recollecting his days of Ram Leela where he performed the role of a nondescript monkey, SRK said, "More than your talent, it is the platform that you get which matters." Praising the new concept of Colors, SRK said, "This is the first time anywhere in the world where talent from all across the globe will come together to perform on a single stage. I don't think I am very talented. I just got to showcase my talent to the world. Even average talent can flourish if it gets the right platform. Getting a platform is important irrespective of whether you are the best or not." SRK also mentioned that as a host he will put the entire show together in an entertaining way. Colors Got Talent World Stage Live grand finale will be telecast live on 6th December from Andheri Sports Complex.
