MUMBAI: Television actress Rhea Sharma, known for her portrayal of Nishi in Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar and Kanak in Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji, will be seen playing the lead in Star Plus’ upcoming show Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, which is the spin-off of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Rhea is paired opposite TV hunk Shaheer Sheikh in the show.

Rhea has played a pivotal role in Bollywood’s M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story.

What do you think about Rhea Sharma?

The actress is an interesting person to know. She is humble and a fun person to talk to. Since her fans wants to know more about her, TellyChakkar got in touch with her to share a few interesting facts about her that people are not aware. Here are excerpts.

One common thing that my character and I share is that we both have specs. In my actual life also, I am exactly like Mishti.

I like swimming and playing football in my free time.

If not an actor, I would have been a journalist, but my first priority was always acting, and I had a wish to be in front of the camera.

I like reading and binging on Netflix shows.

These days, while shooting, I keep sipping green tea and working out in my make-up room during intervals.

I am an introvert and take time to know someone.

Not many know, but I am a very good rapper. In fact, I entertained my cast during our outdoor shoot in Kutch.

I love dancing, and one dance form that I am really good at is jazz.
