MUMBAI: Nyra Banerjee is a talented actress.
She has done a plethora of projects in the south industry and it is just last year that she made her TV debut with Divya Drishti. In conversation with Nyra, we spoke about her journey on television so far and what prompted her to make a debut in the TV space.
Nyra shared, “I never intended to debut on television. I was auditioning for the web and the makers of Divya Drishti really liked my aura and Mukta Dhond thought that I would fit in really well into the role of Divya. It was a six month shoot so I agreed. I had really not seen much of serials to know how much television had progressed over the years.
Talking about her stint with Excuse Me Madam, Nyra said, “I never had to do comedy or attempt because the way our characters are designed are only humourous. I have not made any funny faces. All I had to do is just retain the attitude of an authoritative boss. When you look at somebody there are a lot of unspoken thoughts and words which maintain the feel of the show. “
Way to go Nyra!
