“I want to play Paro of Devdas” Prachi Desai

The young and graceful Prachi Desai is working hard these days with Kasam Se and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa in her kitty. Prachi has a hectic schedule and she is eagerly waiting for the Jhalak finale. Prachi truly believes that it was due to Kasam Se that she entered Jhalak and wants to continue playing Bani. But the pretty actress is now gearing up for her maiden film role. She has been signed on by director Farhan Akhtar for a film titled Rock On. The film will be presented by Excel Entertainment. “Its great to enter Bollywood with a person like Farhan. I think I’m lucky as my co-star is a director cum actor. I’ll get many things to learn from him.” When asked about the details of the film she says, “I don’t have any idea of when the film is going to start and when it will be released. I can only tell you that Rock On is a story of a band and I’m just waiting for the shoot to start.” Ask her about her dream role and Prachi says, “I would love to play Paro of Devdas. I admired Aishwarya in the movie and dream of playing that kind of character some day.” Prachi is happy and content with her current work. “It’s really great to be back on Jhalak. After my return I definitely aim to win the title and am working hard at it. Reality shows are fun and would love to participate if the concept is good,” she verbalizes. So would a show like Big Boss excite you? “I won’t opt for Big Boss as firstly I can’t stay away from home and secondly I don’t like to reveal my personal life as I’m very shy,” utters Prachi laughingly.
