Iqbal Khan to play a double role in Life OK’s Tumhari Paakhi

Iqbal
Shashi-Sumeet Productions Pvt. Ltd.'s popular show on Life OK, Tumhari Paakhi is going great guns with viewers seeing a twist in the tale with the cast and crew recently shooting in Singapore. Now, the show is headed towards yet another revelation, and the loyal fans of the heartthrob Iqbal Khan will have a ‘double’ treat soon. Why are we saying so? That's because Iqbal will be seen in a double role. As per sources, with the Singapore track getting a good response, the creative think-tank took this decision of bringing in Anshuman's look-alike. This decision was taken during the shoot in Singapore. On digging in, we got to know that in the track to come, Anshuman's mother, essayed by Anita Raj will confide that she has one more son, who she has lost track of. It will be shown that Girish (Sachin Shroff) will order his men to look around for this other son. A source states, "Girish will soon find out that this son would actually be living somewhere in Rajasthan. Hence, Girish will go on a lookout for the guy. And we hear that this guy would turn out to be a look-alike of Anshuman, and will be played by Iqbal." We hear that the creative team is presently working on the character of the look-alike and on the storyline that will introduce him. As of now, we hear that the new character coming in will be a contrast to the well-suited Anshuman; the guy will be a typical ruffian, dressed exactly like one. We tried to get in touch with Iqbal as well as Producer Sumeet Mittal for a confirmation on this, but could not get through to them. Iqbal’s double role will hit screens screen from the first week of July. Stay tuned for more updates and remember, you got to read about this first on Tellychakkar.com.
