Divyanka Tripathi aka Vidya of Banoo Main Teri Dulhan is discovering how tough life can be in a metro. Just a day she was all gung ho about her new Hyundai Verna and the next day she found the windowpane of the vehicle shattered. Not just that even the music system was stolen. Apparently Divyanka had to park her car on the street as she hasn't been allotted any parking space in her society. Unfortunately, despite this incident, she hasn't found a parking space yet.

When asked about this incident, she replied, "These (society) people aren't letting me park my car as they say that there is no space available. However, this isn't true as I can find ample space to park my car. Thus, I was left with no option but to park my car outside our compound and then I received this shock."
Surprisingly, Divyanka hasn't lodged any complaint with the police. When queried about her inaction she said, "Honestly, I'm have no time to look after these things. Well, that day I arrived home at 4.00 am and went to bed an hour later. However, around 7.00 am, I was told of the incident." It took few minutes for a drowsy Divyanka to gauge what had occurred. But the actress is relieved that thieves were unable to steal her car. "This car has a good security system and that's why they couldn't steal it", quips Divyanka. Divyanka denied being pressurised for paying any sum for parking by the builder or her landlord.
As if this wasn't enough, Divyanka is has also encountered other problems recently. The bubbly actress describes her experience of the recent monsoon mayhem in the city. "Despite the red alert by met department, we had to report for shoot in Sakinaka. I didn't deem it fit to take my car, so, I was offered a lift by one of the unit members. Somehow, we managed to reach the studios only to see water cover half the length of the studio gate. Naturally, we couldn't open the car door. Worst, we were told (jokingly) to sneak from the car window."
Living alone is a city like Mumbai is a tough proposition and particularly for a woman. Divyanka endorses this point of view when she says " In Mumbai, it's pretty difficult to manage things when you're living alone."
