Jai Kalra talks about his character in Life OK's Laut Aao Trisha

Despite his popularity and fame, Jai Kalra is one actor who is grounded and an epitome of humility. He enchanted the audience with quality contributions in the television industry as Rishabh Rampal in Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil as the bad man and the positive, simple Vikram Shergil in mega drama show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. But this time around, the dashing Jai will be seen in an all new avatar! Staying true to his resolution of taking up distinguished roles, the dashing actor will be seen essaying Pratik Swaika, opposite the Bollywood star Bhagyashree, in Life OK’s latest presentation Laut Aao Trisha (24 Frames Productions). Discussing about his character, Jai stated, “The way the characters are conceived on television today are very uni-dimensional. It gets monotonous for an actor to come on the sets for two years and essay repetitive characters and scenes. So, every time I am offered a role, I consciously choose the characters which are diametrically different from what I have done in the past.” As the pillar of the Swaika household, Pratik will be dominating, vulnerable, volatile, and soft spoken yet aggressive in nature. “I am having a ball shooting for Laut Aao Trisha. Particularly because I feel blessed that I am shooting with my co-actors who are of the same caliber as mine. We shoot five scenes and get exhausted but what we take back home is the satisfaction of performing well.” It seems that Jai is all set to rock the television screens with his edgy performance. When Tellychakkar.com asked him about his co-actors on the show Jai instantly quipped, “Bhagyashree is making a come-back after a long time but I feel she has the same zeal in her when she started off.” Kudos to that Jai!!!
