Lately, Jannat has been doing many music videos which have got her a lot of popularity. Jannat started off as a child artist and continues to rule the entertainment industry.
Her last full-fledged acting gig was for Colors’ Tu Aashiqui. Post that Jannat has been only venturing into music videos. In a recent interview, the actress opened up on why she didn’t opt for a digital debut. She said, “My father and I are very choosy when it comes to selecting projects, at least at this stage of my career wherein whatever I’ll take up will become my debut in a sense. We both are very patient and don’t want to rush into taking up anything that comes our way just because we’re running out of time. During Tu Aashiqui days, there were a lot of controversies because I didn’t want to perform certain scenes (romantic). The digital platform requires certain things which I’m not up for. I don’t want to do anything that will affect my audience and me. Kind of language, substance use, or bold scenes. I will only take up a project if I’m fully convinced with the content.”
Quite a calculated decision, we must say!
