Jethalal aka Dilip Joshi of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame earns THIS amount per episode

Most of us are curious about the remuneration of our favourite actors. Talking about Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Jethalal aka Dilip Joshi, who has been entertaining the audience for more than a decade is touted to be the highest-paid actor on the show. As per Zoom Digital, he gets approximately Rs 1.5 lakh for every episode, thus making him the highest-paid actor on the show.

MUMBAI: After Dilip, Taarak Mehta aka Shailesh Lodha gets Rs 1 lakh per episode. Mandar Chandwadkar who essays the role of Aatmaram Tukaram Bhide gets Rs 80,000 per episode. The same report also stated that Babita aka Munmun Dutta earns up to Rs 50,000 per episode. Previously, there were reports that after Dilip Joshi, it was his onscreen wife Daya Ben aka Disha Vakani who was the highest-paid actor in the show.

Meanwhile, earlier, it was said that the show is deteriorating in quality. However, refuting those rumours, Modi said, “Honestly, we are shooting during the pandemic, the situation is very bad in the city and we all know that.” He continued, “We can't show a repetitive storyline to the audience because the sitcom has a repeat telecast on the channel and it is also equally loved by people and we will be caught. We can't afford to do that. We work day and night, the writers so that we bring good stories. We are not repetitive and that's the only reason the show has sustained in the industry for the last 13 years.”
