MUMBAI: The episode begins with Prithvi yelling at the pandit to start the rituals again. Karan looks and smiles at him. Prithvi makes the pandit forcefully sit at the Mandap and asks him to start the rituals as he will marry Preeta as planned. The rituals start and Karan gets angry. He pours water on the ritual fire. Prithvi asks Sarla to come with him. Sarla asks Karan why he did it as Preeta is not a commodity that can be won. Karan tells her that Prithvi cannot marry Preeta now as she's already married to him now. Sarla scolds Prithvi at which his mother gets angry and tells her not to say anything to her son. Sarla asks Karan why he never came to ask for marrying Preeta and tells him that she doesn't accept this marriage. Dadi is with Mahesh and says that she was not able to say anything to Prithvi who is responsible for Mahesh's condition. Dadi blames Preeta for ruining the peace of the family and complains of chest pain.
Rakhi runs to call Rishabh. Karan holds Sarla's hands and says that he didn't have time to come to ask for marriage with Preeta as he found out that Prithvi wanted to marry Preeta. He says that he had to take this step to stop Prithvi from taking what is his. He says that he got late to reach the Mandap and then didn't have time to explain and did what he thought was best in that situation. The attendees say that he has married the wrong way and ruined the life of a girl. Prithvi refuses to accept the wedding. Rakhi comes to inform Rishabh about the chest pain Dadi is feeling. He calls the doctor and rushes to Dadi's room. Prithvi says that Karan married Preeta as he hates her and wants to seek revenge. Karan says that what he says doesn't matter as what matters is what Preeta thinks.
Sarla asks Karan if he tried to find out what Preeta thinks of marrying him. Karan mentions that Rishabh told him that he cannot identify his feelings. Karan says that he did not know what love was before he met her. Karan says that he fights with her but she is everything for him. He apologizes for the way he married Preeta however expresses that he loves her. Sarla along with the family are happy. Karan kneels and asks Preeta to take his hand and vows to never let go of her. Preeta is confused and unclear on what has to be done. Srishti is overjoyed and exclaims it to be romantic. He says that she has accepted him as her brother in law. She says that she knows Karan will keep Preeta very happy and that even the almighty wanted this to happen.
