MUMBAI: Celebrated all over the world, International Day of Yoga is observed to cherish the spiritual prowess that yoga has delivered to humankind. On this special occasion, Zee TV actor Neha Marda from Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti speaks at length about how yoga has added value to her life. Neha, who portrays the role of Shubhra in Zee TV’s Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti, revealed, “I have always wanted to be fit and have a toned body; however, my aim was not just to shed weight, but to have a proper balance of all the body muscles while not having unnecessary body fat that keeps coming back time and again. I realized very early on that every body-type is different and mine functions more when I’m practicing yoga on a regular basis. I’ve never been a gym freak, in fact, I don’t even hit the gym like most of the others do. Instead, I focus on my yoga and meditation sessions. I believe gym workouts are meant to tighten up the muscles, but they aren’t long lasting, whereas yoga works slow, but lasts for a lifetime. It’s a practice that brings energy up your spine. I have invested in it and I’ve benefitted from the practice, and hence I would request my fans to also do the same. On this Yoga Day, let’s just experience Yoga’s healing power in a very real way. Happy International Day of Yoga to one and all.”
While Neha continues her fitness regimen, on the show, looks like Shubhra will struggle to gain her son’s confidence back after he comes to know that Harsh is not his mother’s friend, but a therapist who has been hired to counsel him. Will Shubhra find a way to solve this misunderstanding or will it get even worse?
