MUMBAI: Abhishek Kumar, one of the most adored and successful faces on Indian television, continues to win hearts with his charm and on-screen presence.
After becoming a household name through Bigg Boss Season 16, where he finished as the first runner-up, the actor is currently making waves with his stint on Laughter Chef Season 2—one of television’s most loved reality shows.

In an exclusive chat with TellyChakkar, Abhishek opened up about recent headlines surrounding fellow television stars Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Ankit Gupta, including their reported break-up and Ankit’s decision to step away from a Dreamiyata production.
There’s been a lot of buzz around Priyanka and Ankit’s alleged break-up. What’s your take on it?
To be completely honest, I didn’t even know they were in a relationship. I always assumed they were just good friends. We all lead such busy lives with packed schedules, so I haven’t really had a chance to speak with either Priyanka or Ankit recently. Had I known more or been in touch, I might’ve had something to say but at this point, I truly have no idea what’s going on between them.
Ankit Gupta has also reportedly quit his show under the Dreamiyata banner. Any thoughts on that?
That’s quite a sensitive topic. I don’t think it’s my place to comment on someone’s personal choices or reasons, especially when I’m not aware of the details. What I do know is that Ravi and Sargun consistently create exceptional content for the audience. In fact, I’m really looking forward to my upcoming project with them titled Tujhse Haii Ashiqui. It’s something I’m truly excited about.
Despite the current drama in the television world, Abhishek remains grounded and focused on his own journey. His respectful stance on personal matters shows his maturity and professionalism.
Fans continue to admire his camaraderie with both Priyanka and Ankit, and there’s certainly hope among viewers to see the beloved trio share screen space again.
