Lavina Tandon joins Paapad Pol

Even before the launch, Papad Pol… Shahbuddin Rathod Ki Rangeen Duniya is being talked about for Swapnil Joshi’s never-seen-before look. Though the makers aren’t revealing much about the show, here’s what we have gathered. Ami Trivedi and Swapnil are playing the leads in this SAB comedy. And news is actress Lavina Tandon makes a comeback on television in a presumably power packed role. She plays a very important role of a Rajput Gujarati girl. “I play a role of a Rajput Gujarati girl, who stays in the same pol (society) as Swapnil (Joshi). She is also known as the ‘price tag’.” says Tandon. As far as the concept goes, our sources say, “Swapnil plays a good-hearted person, who helps everyone in the pol. Be it getting vegetables from the market or helping to bring people together, he is extremely helpful. However, he is unable to find a girl to get married. So everyone in the pol wants him to settle down.” Trivedi’s entry is expected to happen a little later in the show. Paapad Pol is a family comedy drama based on the literary works of the popular orator cum writer of Gujarat, Shahabuddin Rathod. This show will replace Maniben.com.
