MUMBAI: Actress Gulki Joshi, who is currently playing cop Haseena Malik in TV show 'Maddam Sir' is in a happy space. The actress has successfully completed a year and she just can't keep calm. Read what the actress has to say: 

Maddam Sir has completed one year already. How does it feel?
I feel very happy that the show has completed  one year and I hope that more and more such years come by and we celebrate it. Due to Covid, we kept it low profile, we just cut the cake and celebrated it on sets with all necessary precautions.

How has been your equation with the other cast?
The graph is fantastic, from the very first day of the show, we all became very good friends. And yes we enjoy a lot off screen too.

What have you learnt from the show till now?
The character of Haseena Malik is very different. As the show was a moral for the audience in every chapter, it brought back memories from the days of childhood where we used to read stories with a moral at the end.

What difference do you see between the first day on set and today?
There is no such difference. Since the first day, we were unable to stop our laughter on scenes and it's still the same today too.

What are your expectations from the show now?
My expectations are that the show does better and better day by day. I am proud to be a part of the show as in every chapter there is a learning for the audience and especially for the kids, as the majority of the fans are kids.    

Now there is a slot change too for the show. Is it going to affect the TRP?
I am just an actor and I still don't understand the game of the TRP. I believe that people are still loving the content of the show so it will always do better. It's just the audience who make and break a show, so a slot change would not affect in my opinion.  

What changes Haseena Malik has brought to your life?
The character of Haseena Malik has brought a lot of change in my life.  In a year's time it has rubbed off on my individual personality as well. I have become very calm and patient like Haseena Malik and I believe it's for the good.
