Commenting on this development, Madirakshi told a leading daily, “I am looking forward to moving to Aamgaon. It is a green zone, and it will be a good break, as we have not been able to go anywhere out of Mumbai due to the pandemic. Given the COVID-19 situation, the team members live there and visit their families only once a month. I will miss my family, but the pandemic is not getting over anytime soon, and we have to continue working. My husband is also working and he will manage for the time I am away. Since we live with my parents, we have taken extra precautions during the pandemic. We have not stepped out at all for the last six-seven months. My husband and I always ordered groceries online. We have not even stepped out to walk in the building compound."
Madirakshi further told the daily that she is not worried about being typecast in mythological roles.
The actress was last seen playing Goddess Lakshmi in Jag Janani Maa Vaishno Devi — Kahani Mata Rani Ki. In addition, she has played Sita in Siya Ke Ram.
