MUMBAI: COLORS TV’s much-adored drama Mangal Lakshmi has achieved a significant milestone, completing 400 episodes and continuing to reign supreme on the TRP charts.

The show, which has resonated deeply with audiences across the nation, also marked the highly-anticipated return of television heartthrob Naman Shaw.

In an exclusive chat with TellyChakkar, Naman opened up about his journey on the show, his initial doubts about taking on a morally grey character, and how it feels to be part of such a remarkable achievement.

Congratulations on Mangal Lakshmi completing 400 episodes! How does it feel to be part of this milestone?

Thank you! Honestly, it feels absolutely wonderful. It’s been quite a while since I’ve witnessed this level of success in my career. The last time I experienced something of this magnitude was during Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kasamh Se.

After that, it was a bit of a dry spell. But now, after returning to television following a six-year break, it’s truly heartening to see this kind of response. It feels like a second innings, and I’m incredibly grateful.

When you were first approached for the role of Adit, were you hesitant about accepting it?

Yes, I must admit I was a bit skeptical at first. Adit’s character is quite layered and walks the fine line between right and wrong—something I hadn’t portrayed before. I wasn’t sure if I could pull off a grey character convincingly.

But once I got into the skin of the role and started understanding his motivations, everything began to fall into place. It was a challenge, especially because I’m nothing like Adit in real life, but I embraced it wholeheartedly.

With Mangal Lakshmi continuing its successful run and Naman Shaw delivering a standout performance as Adit, it’s clear that this comeback has been nothing short of triumphant.

As fans eagerly tune in each evening, the show promises to keep its grip on the audience—and Naman, once again, has firmly cemented his place in the hearts of viewers.

Stay tuned to TellyChakkar for all the latest updates.
