MUMBAI: TellyChakkar has been at the forefront of reporting exclusively about popular actors starring in Star Bharat's crime based episodic show Savdhaan India.

Now, the latest we hear is that the channel is planning to introduce cops in the show who will help to solve the cases.

Recently, we reported that actress Sheetal Dabholkar, known for her stint in Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai, Chandrakanta fame Shahbaz Khan, and Crime Patrol fame Ankur Kabir Sharma have been roped in to play cops in the show. We hear that Shahbaz will play the role of a PI and Sheetal will be seen as a PSI. Both Sheetal and Shahbaz will star in episodes which will be produced under the banner of Bombay Studios.

The latest update is that actress Manini De will also be seen donning the hat of a police officer in the show. Manini will be a part of episodes produced by Mahir Films.

We couldn’t connect with Manini for a comment.

Manini is known for her stints in projects like Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi, Naamkaran, Laado 2, among various others.

Savdhaan India is yet again bringing a new set of crime-based stories. In the past, the show was hosted by popular stars namely Sushant Singh, Sidharth Shukla, Gaurav Chopra, Mohnish Behl, Sakshi Tanwar, and many more.
