Manish Raisinghania's 'friendly appearance' in Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine

Manish Raisinghania’s first casual meeting with ace producer and director Madhur Bhandarkar turned to be fruitful as he bagged a role in his upcoming movie Heroine. Manish who is presently seen essaying the role of Siddhant in Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka will be seen in a friendly appearance in the movie where he plays the role of a superstar. So how did Manish land himself a role in Madhur Bhandarkar’s movie starring Kareena Kapoor? Well, that’s part of destiny as Manish happened to impress Madhur in his very first meeting and was offered a small role in Heroine. However, Manish was apprehensive in taking up the role as it was just a friendly appearance. But Manish got convinced to take up the role when producer and director of his previous show Rang Badalti Odhani, Swapna Waghmare Joshi asked him to take up the role as it would pave way for bigger things. When contacted, Manish Raisinghania said, “Yes, I am part of the movie Heroine. But it is just a friendly appearance where I play a superstar. It is a blink and miss role, so I request please don’t blink (smiles). On a serious note, I hope this is a beginning of a good career in movies.’ Heroine is the story of a successful film actress, played by Kareena Kapoor whose career is on the decline. The movie also stars Arjun Rampal, Randeep Hooda, Rakesh Bapat etc. It is scheduled to release on 21 September 2012. Manish, we wish you all the very best.
