MUMBAI: Mona Singh who played the lead role in the supernatural drama Kavach...Kaali Shaktiyon Se has been replaced by Deepika Singh in its season 2.
About being replaced by Deepika in season 2, Mona told Spotboye that she was approached for the show, but her schedule is packed for the next five-six months. Hence, she is not a part of the upcoming season, but she is equally excited to go on air and will be glued to the television screen.
Speaking about Deepika, she was on a maternity break since May 2017. She is returning to TV screens with Kavach...Kaali Shaktiyon Se season 2.
A source shared with the portal that the actress was quite happy about being a part of Kavach as she waited for a long time to get a good break.
Season 2 of the show will see Deepika opposite Namik Paul. The source added that the actors have shot for the mahurat scene at a Shiv temple in Naigaon.
