MUMBAI: Over the last two to three years, the Hindi entertainment industry has witnessed the arrival of many youngsters and newcomers in the entertainment industry. Most of them do not have any godfather's privilege from the industry and has bagged poignant on-screen roles and accolades by their own merit.
While some of them were seen as child artistes on-screen years ago, few of them featured as leads in some popular youth shows of the different youth channels (like MTV India, Channel V, Zoom entertainment, etc.), some of them paved their way into the mainstream industry post-featuring as contestants in the youth reality shows like Roadies, Splitsvilla, etc., a few of them find their breakthrough opportunity through modelling and after featuring for various digital ad campaigns while the rest are totally newcomers who grabbed their opportunities by nailing their audition rounds.
While we celebrate and cherish these new participants and their participation through their on-screen performances and acting chops, we do wonder why certain super-popular TV actors, who created quite an impression and stir amid the show viewers with their great looks, features and equally good acting chops. They even managed to gather a huge fan-following, such that fans miss watching these stars on the small-screens. Quite often, whenever they come across their posts on the different social media platforms, they wonder about the return of these stars back on-screen, however, this still stays a mystery.
With new generation stars like Parth Samthaan, Shaheer Sheikh, Zaan Khan, Mohsin Khan and many others are on a qualitative entertainment-spree for their fans, fans do extremely miss the on-screen presence of the not-so-forgotten handsome TV hunks like Barun Sobti, Karanvir Bohra, Ram Kapoor, Karan Tacker, Arpit Ranka, Gautam Rode, Nakuul Mehta and lastly, Dhruv Bhandari and keep wondering that when would they return on-screen again.
These stars had gained immense fame on-screen with not only their good looks and acting chops, but also for their sizzling on-screen chemistry with their respective co-stars for the shows that helped them claim immense fame.

1. Barun Sobti
Barun Sobti claimed immense fame by playing Arnav Singh Raizada in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?, opposite Sanaya Irani. He literally became the most-desired bachelor from the industry for his role as Arnav with every girl from schools and colleges drooling over him. However, despite doing a movie last year, since IPKKND went off-air, Sobti's on-screen charm suffered a major setback for unknown reasons and people were not aware of his latest projects. However, girls and ladies still hope for his comeback as a popular show's lead and desire to witness his on-screen charm and chemistry all over again.
2. Karanvir Bohra
Karanvir Bohra claimed fame through the TV shows like Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Dil Se Di Dua... Saubhagyavati Bhava?,
Shararat, Naagin 2 and Qubool Hai. He was first known for playing Dhruv in the fictional show Shararat and was best known for portraying the role of the tyrant psychopath husband Viraj to Sriti Jha's Jahnvi. He was last seen on-screen in Naagin 3 for playing a brief cameo role in 2019.
3. Ram Kapoor
Apart from featuring in many Bollywood movies, Ram Kapoor gained immense popularity on the small-screen for portraying Jai Walia in the television series Kasamh Se and Ram Kapoor in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, opposite Sakshi Talwar. He was hailed for the latter for his warm on-screen chemistry with Sakshi and even doing a bold scene with her. His last television prominence was seen in 2016 with Tamanna.
4. Karan Tacker
He's best known for his portrayal of Viren Singh Vadhera in Star Plus's Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai (2011). He hasn't done many other lead roles but was a prominent face in many television reality shows.
5. Arpit Ranka
Arpit was best known for portraying Duryodhana's role in the popular mythological series Mahabharat (2013) and has consistently portrayed many negative characters in similar types of shows. He was last seen in Brahmarakshas 2.
6. Gautam Rode
Gautam was popular for portraying the male-leads in Saraswatichandra, Suryaputra Karn (wherein he played the titular characters) and Veer Singh in Kaal Bhairav Rahasya Season 2. He was last spotted on the small-screen in the 2019 show Bhakarwadi.
7. Nakuul Mehta
Now a doting father in real life, Nakuul grew immensely popular as a small-screen actor for portraying the roles of Shivaay Singh Oberoi in Ishqbaaaz and Aditya Harish Kumar in Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara. In Ishqbaaz, his spicy chemistry with co-star Surbhi Chandna was much lauded and was last seen on television in this show's spin-off show - Dil Boley Oberoi.
8. Dhruv Bhandari
Dhruv never featured in many TV shows, however, his lead stance in Star Plus' 2014 show Tere Sheher Mein helped him gain immense popularity in a short-span of time, especially for his sweet-and-sour chemistry with co-star Hiba Nawab. After this show, he settled down by marrying Shruti Merchant and they've also welcomed their baby daughter. However, fans are still hoping for his comeback on the small-screen.
