MUMBAI: Set in the backdrop of the 90s, Sony TV’s popular show Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai (Shashi Sumeet Productions) has been gaining accolades from the audiences.
The show is soon marching towards one of its major highpoints—Sameer and Naina’s wedding.
Since the show is based in the 90s, the makers have taken a lot of inspiration from the movies made in that era.
Right from the costumes and ambience to the hairstyles, everything is detailed and gives the audiences a nostalgic feel of the golden era.
Lead pair Sameer and Naina has recreated a few looks of Madhuri Dixit and Salman Khan from their extremely popular flick Hum Aapke Hai Kaun.
Have a look!

First, the duo was dressed as the iconic couple from the movie in one of the sequences. Naina wore a navy-blue saree, and Sameer wore a white jumpsuit.

In Naina’s haldi, the makers seem to have taken cues from Madhuri’s style in the above-mentioned movie.

The duo does it again. In Sameer-Naina’s mehendi ceremony, Naina wears a green and white lehenga, whereas Sameer will wear a white shirt paired with a brown printed jacket, just like Madhuri and Salman did in the song Didi Tera Devar Deewana.
Needless to say, the show gives major nostalgic feels to viewers.
