TRPs are a pivotal factor that influences the tracks of a show. That’s the name of the game on television. So no matter how big a star is, if his/her track isn’t getting the numbers then the show’s makers never hesitate in experimenting. Often this provides an opportunity for other actors in the show to showcase their mettle. However, the sidelined artistes are never amused. Many a big actors have endured this ignominy.

Rumour has it that Natasha Sharma who plays Sia, the protagonist of Colors and Shakuntalam Telefilms show Na Aana Is Des Laado isn’t happy with the way her character has shaped up over the last few months.
A little birdie from the sets informs, “Though she’s isn’t livid as such but Natasha is a bit confused with the way her character has been show recently. The current track with Ammaji, DM, and Jhumar has worked wonderfully and so Natasha and other characters in the show have been cornered. While Natasha has no problem with the current track, but she’s surprised as to how sedate Sia has become.”
When contacted, Sharma said, “No, this is not true. Personally, I have no grievances with the current track or the way my character has shaped up but I’ve been flooded with lots of mails from fans on Facebook who have raised few questions. The show was about Sia vs Ammaji. It was Sia who had vowed to take on Ammaji then why has she become so sedate now? They find this very disturbing.”
Adding further, she says, “I’m really touched by the way my fans have been following the show. Sia is silent and has not woken up for some time due to strategic reasons... Hopefully, the old Sia will be back at the appropriate time.”
We contacted producer Shyamasis Bhattacharya and even sent him a text but he didn’t revert.
