Nawab Shah roped in for Sony TV’s Bajirao Mastani

Nawab Shah will be the next big name roped in for Sony TV’s much-anticipated historical, Bajirao Mastani
Nawab Shah

The ensemble cast of Sony TV’s upcoming magnum-opus historical, Bajirao Mastani is indeed getting bigger and better!!

After exclusively reporting (last week) about Mrinal Kulkarni and child actor Rudra Soni bagging prominent roles, we are back again with yet another prime cast.

Seasoned Bollywood actor Nawab Shah, known for his charismatic roles in movies Lakshya, Humshakals, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag has now joined the elite league on the show.

Nawab will be playing the enterprising role of Nizam of Hyderabad in Bajirao Mastani, is what we hear. The actor was recently in the news for his break-up with popular actress Kavita Kaushik.

As per sources, “The casting of Nawab has been a prized catch for the channel and makers.”

Nawab was last seen on TV in Life OK’s Nagarjun Ek Yoddha, before he quit the show for creative reasons.

As we know, Bajirao Mastani is being produced by Sphere Origin and Invictus T Mediaworks.

We tried buzzing Nawab, but could not get through to him.

We sent text messages to Producer Sunjoy Wadhwa and the channel spokesperson, but received no revert till the time of filing the story.
