New parents Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava have a beautiful name for their daughter

MUMBAI: TV town witnessed lots of popular celebs embracing parenthood this year like Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chathrath and Saath Nibhana Saathiya actor Rucha Nasabnis. The latest to join the bandwagon are Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava, who were recently blessed with a baby girl.

On 14th December, the couple welcomed their first child.

In a media statement, Karan confirmed the news and said he is overjoyed and added that Ankita and baby are healthy.

As soon as the news was out, Karan and Ankita's co-stars and industry friends congratulated the couple on social media. One of them was Vikaas Kalantri, and he posted a picture of himself with wife Priyanka and Karan Patel.

Soon, Vikaas' wife shared the same image, and with the caption, she also revealed Karan and Ankita's daughter's name. The couple has named their daughter Mehr.
