MUMBAI : Jyotika Tangri has gained quite some fame with her songs where she presented the revised versions of some iconic superhits in the likes of Mungda and Pallo Latke.
She has also given her voice to Surmedaani from Bajre Da Sitta along with her debut Jai Maa in Behen Hogi Teri. In an exclusive conversation with TellyChakkar, Jyotika shared her take on recreating the track.

Jyotiska mentioned, “It is a good opportunity that we get to work on such iconic songs but it is a risk as these songs have already created a special place in people’s minds and hearts and there can be flak on the remakes. So far I have received a good response so I am happy. I would really like to lend my voice to Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt as I think my voice would match their face. Working with them under the banner of Sanjay Leela Bhansali would be a dream come true moment.

Among the work that I have done, Sonakshi Sinha has done a fabulous job with Mungda. She has the bubbly and energetic personality which was needed for the song.”
