You’ve been in the news recently for joining Parineetii. Tell us more about your character, Nisha.

Yes, I’m really thrilled to be a part of Parineetii. I’ll be playing Nisha, who is Neeti’s daughter. What excites me most about the role is the complexity Nisha isn’t just a typical character. She’s got many layers and moods, and as the story unfolds, different shades of her personality will come to light. She’s unpredictable, bold, and has a bit of an edge, which makes her incredibly fun to portray.

Would you describe Nisha as a negative character? Or is she more of a grey shade?

That’s the beauty of it you never really know! Nisha definitely has her grey moments, but she isn’t entirely negative. There’s a lot of depth and transformation in her arc. Every episode reveals a new layer, so viewers will constantly be guessing her next move. It’s not black or white; it’s all the shades in between, and that’s what drew me to the role.

We’ve also heard you were approached for Bigg Boss. Is that true?

Yes, I was offered Bigg Boss, and while I was grateful for the opportunity, I chose not to take it up at the time. I didn’t feel ready for reality television just yet. My heart is currently set on acting and exploring diverse roles in fiction. But who knows? Maybe in the future, if the timing and circumstances align, I might consider it.

What kind of roles do you personally enjoy – positive or negative?

I genuinely enjoy both. Playing a positive character allows you to connect with the audience emotionally—you have to be humble, kind, and rooted. It’s quite similar to who I am in real life. On the other hand, negative or grey characters offer so much room to experiment. You can push boundaries, explore different emotions, and break stereotypes. It’s creatively fulfilling to switch between both extremes. Like Nisha is a grey character and positive somewhere similar to the character of Poo.

With her flair for both drama and subtlety, Pratiksha Honmukhe is all set to leave a mark with her fresh avatar in Parineetii. As the plot thickens, it’s clear that Nisha is going to be a game-changer.
