Pet parents Siddharth Nigam and Gulki Joshi to celebrate Diwali with their beloved furry babies

MUMBAI: Diwali is time of celebration. Joining Siddharth and Gulki in their festivities will also be their furry babies Wasooli Bhai and Jalebi. Here’s what the artist had to share:

Aladdin Naam Toh Suna Hoga' actor Siddharth Nigam shares, “I am a proud pet parent of Wasooli Bhai. Diwali is always a special occasion and Wasooli Bhai is our family. Diwali is equally important for him as for us. Also because he gets more treats during the festive time. Wasooli Bhai is always showered with love from his fans from social media and keeps receiving some yummy treats every now and then. For this Diwali I have called for some customised treats from a specialized pet bakery and I am sure he is going to love it. While we gorge on ladoos and kaju katlis, he will devour his doggie cupcakes. While this year we won’t be able to go out and celebrate elaborately, I have planned to get a cute festive outfit for Wasooli Bhai and I am sure he will love it. It is a bright sparkly outfit to go along the vibrant festival of lights and I plan on twinning with him on Diwali Day.

Every year, Diwali is Wasooli’s favorite time as we have people coming to our house and showering him with love but since this year not many people will be visiting our place, but we will stay connected with our loved ones virtually. Our friends and family have already asked Wasooli to also be on the video call. He is always the most sought after one in the family. The spirit of festivals is infectious and I always find Wasooli Bhai a little too excited when we start cleaning and decorating our house. I am excited for Diwali and to capture this memory with all of us decked up in our festive best. One request that Wasooli Bhai would like to make is that we should avoid burning loud crackers as we get scared. I would encourage all my fans and viewers to spread love and happiness this Diwali.”

Maddam Sir’s Gulki Joshi talking about Jalebi, shares, “Since I am a pet parent now, this will be my first Diwali with her. Jalebi, my puppy, is really young and tiny right now and gets really scared of crackers and loud noises. Since she is four and a half year old now, I can finally clip her nails and groom her comfortably. So pre-Diwali plans is to groom her. This year my yearly Diwali pooja will have a new member and I can't wait to put a small teeka on her forehead and give her some special treats. Diwali this year will be more or less same for me, post pooja having a lavish dinner with my family, making Diwali snacks at home and lighting up my entire house. It will be interesting to see how jalebi reacts to the lightings in the house.”
