Piyali Munshi aka Durga to feature in Sasural Simar Ka

When in dire dilemma, just look up to the sky and pray. And the Almighty will embrace you and slap away all your worries. Yes, something similar will unfold in Colors’ avidly watched daily soap, Sasural Simar Ka (Sunrise Productions). As per the track, Roli (Avika Gor) is deeply engulfed in emotional turmoil pertaining to her jolted relationship with husband Siddhant (Manish Raisinghania). Simar (Dipika Samson) has come to know about it and in an effort to iron out all unwanted and painful creases, will pray to Maa Durga. This is when Maa Durga will appear. As we all know Durga is mythological show produced by Sagar Arts airing on the same channel. Hence, actress Piyali Munshi, who plays the role of Durga, will make an appearance in Sasural Simar Ka. Durga will answer to all queries thrown at her by Simar. We called up Piyali and she remained out of reach but an actor from the show who chose to remain anonymous went on to confirm, “Yes, we have shot with Piyali yesterday (16 January 2013).” The Durga-Simar sequence will air in a day or two!!!
