Popatlal is the man in the shawl in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah

As we had reported earlier the residents of Gokuldham Cooperative Housing Society on SAB TV’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (Neela Telefilms) are determined to find out who is the betrayer in their housing society. In tonight’s (1 June 2013) episode, the cloak and dagger mystery regarding this person will be solved. He will turn up at the doorstep of the cunning tuition teacher, when his shawl will be removed, all will see that he is none other than journalist Popatlal Pandey (Shyam Pathak). No, he isn’t against the housing society at all. With all honesty and integrity he is on a sting operation. He has fixed a secret camera in his umbrella and intends to expose Khote to the world. When caught red-handed he will apologise. But the apology has come too late and he will be put behind the bars. Mandar Chandwadkar who plays Aatmaram Tukaram Bhide said, “Bhide will be immensely relieved that this ordeal is over.” Once again, 'all is well that ends well' on this long running comedy series.
