Shilpa and Apurva Agnihotri have never shied away from publicly confessing their love for each other. Their stint on Sony Entertainment Television’s Power Couple has only strengthened the bond further.
The couple got evicted on Sunday from the reality show. Actress Shilpa terms their rather short lived journey in the house as a mixed bag of emotions and one learning experience.
Soon after her stint ended, we spoke to Shilpa who shared her journey and more.
“It was great fun. I enjoyed every moment with Apurva and we had a blast. At times the environment in the house got negative, but it is not the people, but the situations that spread the negativity,” said Shilpa.
Talking about the concept of Power Couple, she averred, “This has been the best concept so far. It was a healthy competition with no fighting. I just want to say to the audience that Sony has always tried to bring different things. This show is all about positivity and no violence.”
We quizzed her about that one contestant, who she believes to have the potential of winning the show and she named, “Each and every couple is very strong in the show but Apurva and I have a soft corner for Shawar Ali and Marsela; so we wish they should win. Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Sheikh also have a high chance to win the show.”
When asked about the one quality that makes them a Power Couple of TV, she quipped, “We have been together for 12 years now and we are an awesome couple. We don’t fight and believe in peaceful life.”
