Prerna Wanvari aka Raveena quits Parichay

Of late there have been rumours about Colors’ Parichay (produced by Balaji Telefilms) going off air. The rumours have been gathering pace following the news that the show's lead Keerti Nagpure had met with a disfiguring accident in real life while travelling for a shooting schedule. None of this has, however, been confirmed by the channel or the production house. Viewers have been concerned about the absence of Prerna Wanvari, who plays Raveena in the soap ever since it took a time leap. While her husband Deepak Sandhu continued to share screen space with Aarti Singh and Samir Soni and the rest of the cast, Raveena has strangely not been seen on screen in the show. The buzz doing the rounds is that she has quit. As per a source the actress had expressed her intention to not continue in Parichay in October 2012 itself and she is on notice till March 2013. We got in touch with Prerna and she accepted that she had put in her papers in October. She said: “I could not see any scope of Raveena’s growth. But, I will be associated with the soap for few more months though they haven’t brought my track back in it as yet.” When asked about the buzz that Parichay would go off air soon, she said, “I seriously do not have an idea about that as I haven’t been shooting with them.” Tellychakkar.com wishes Prerna a rocking career ahead!!!
