Yesterday, we reported about Star Jalsha launching a new serial Protidan wherein Sheikh Rezwan Rabbani and Sandipta Sen are playing the leads.
Now we hear, Pritam Das, who acted in soaps like Pandemonium and Radha and currently seen in Kajalata, has bagged a role in it.
He has been roped in to play the role of hero’s best friend.
When we contacted the actor, he confirmed the development with us and said that he has already started shooting for the soap.
In Kajalata too Pritam is playing the role of hero’s best friend and Protidan being his seventh mega, we asked if he is satisfied with such roles. He said, “I believe in roles that allow me to act and both the serials provided me that opportunity.”
“However, I am not content with the work that I have done so far. An actor is always hungry for good roles and I am no exception,” he added.
So, what kind of roles would he like to play in future? “I especially like playing negative characters. It’s not that I do not like playing positive roles but negative roles have lots of shades so it’s fun to play the latter,” he signed off.
