Priya Bathija 'excited and nervous' as she awaits the release of her maiden movie Chor Chor Super Chor

Chor Chor Super Chor
Priya Bathija – who stepped into the TV scenario with the lead role in Sony Entertainment Television’s Khwaish – recently completed a seven years professional journey in Mumbai. The actress who has of late been busy with commercials is now eagerly looking forward to the release of her maiden movie. Yes, you heard it right!!! Priya essays the lead character in the upcoming comedy flick titled Chor Chor Super Chor. The movie is produced by Ved Kataria and Renu Kataria, and is directed by K Rajesh. The movie is slated for a 2 August (2013) release and has Deepak Dobriyal, Anshul Kataria, Paru Uma, Alok Chaturvedi in principal cast. Talking about her first movie, Priya said, “I am excited and nervous too. The response has been good so far. Chor Chor Super Chor is a light-hearted comedy flick, a typical ‘Paisa Vasool’ movie (smiles), which will bring a smile on your lips by the time you leave the cinema hall. I am happy because the movie is releasing as per its schedule. Everything that happened was in real quick time. I auditioned for the role in November 2011, and you would not believe, I was selected for the movie in just four days time. And I had to fly to Delhi to start shoot immediately. So when I got the movie, I had no time to even react.” Priya went on to say that quite a lot of males from the TV industry have made it big in films of late. But she cannot think of many girls trying their luck on the big screen. “It’s been an interesting phase for TV actors as many like Karan Kundra, Sushant Singh Rajput, Ayushmann Khurana, Amit Sadh and even Jay Bhanushali have knocked the doors of Bollywood. I hope to make it big, as the concept of the movie is good.” On small-budget films doing well, Priya averred, “Chor Chor Super Chor is a fascinating movie in terms of entertainment. I think movie buffs today want to have an entertainer totality, and do not worry about the huge cast list or the budget of the movie.” Priya, we wish you all the very best!!!
