MUMBAI: It is well said that talent has no boundaries!
The talented Prateek Sharma is still remembered for his writing for Beyhadh. He took a leap in his career by becoming a producer. He has already produced Ek Deewana Tha under his banner LSD Films and has now added another feather to his cap.
As we know, Prateek is bringing a new supernatural-based show Manmohini on Zee TV. He has turned lyricist for the project. He has penned down an original song. It is sung by Ronkini (Sui Dhaga Fame) and Osho and composed by Osho.
On becoming a lyrist, he told us, ‘While penning down the story, we always wanted a very emotional yet peppy song for Ram and Siya that showcases their happy as well as sad moments. Thus, it was imperative that we had a good song in place to evoke the correct emotion with the audience. Hence, we created the song Dhola thare bina. It is a mix of Hindi and understandable Rajasthani. We wanted very simple and catchy lyrics and a hummable and rememberable tune with a blend of folk and contemporary music.
Manmohini will feature Reyhna Malhotra playing the role of a chudail. Ankit Siwach and newbie Garima Singh Rathore will play the leads in the show.
