Rajesh Kumar and his partner Rajeev Nigam have been eliminated from Kaante Ki Takkar. But the format of elimination this time was not the same. As opposed to the earlier format where the highest scoring jodi eliminates the weak jodi, this time round the judge’s scores and audience poll decided the elimination of Rajesh and Rajeev. A source from the production house informes, “Rajesh Kumar- Rajeev Nigam get eliminated from Kaante Ki Takkar . The theme on which they performed was ‘animals’ where Rajesh played a news reporter and Rajeev played a dog. Their act showed a news reporter interviewing a dog. The combined marks given by the judges in the non-elimination and elimination episode along with the studio audience poll were considered for the eviction of Rajesh Kumar- Rajeev Nigam.” Rajesh Kumar refused to comment on the elimination but he said, “The new elimination procedure was absolutely fair and the decision was taken purely on the basis of performance.” This episode will air on Saturday (November 1).
