The talented hunk, who is now 21 years old, hails from Prayagraj (then Allahabad) in Uttar Pradesh, who shifted to Mumbai amid his early school days. From those days itself, he primarily aced in gymnastics over any other talent display and himself is a professional national-level gymnast post-winning a gold medal.

After that, Nigam featured in a Bournvita ad as an inspirational figure for many aspiring gymnasts of and around his age. This ad offer turned into a blessing-in-disguise for him as the makers of Dhoom 3 approached him for playing the roles of Aamir Khan's young characters (Samara and Sameer), which had to be presented through a double-role. They were impressed by Siddharth's performance in the ad and selected him as the right-choice for performing the personalized stunts in the movie. That's how Siddharth marked his grand entry into the world of showbiz, that too by debuting on the silver-screen. That's a commendable achievement for a guy of his age back then. The film released in 2013 and the audience loved Siddharth's acting skills on-screen.

Right after that in 2014, there was no stopping him in the path of stardom as he kept on bagging poignant roles for shows that aired on the small-screen. His first small-screen debut was marked in the role of a young Rudra with Life Ok's mythological show Maha Kumbh: Ek Rahasaya, Ek Kahani.

Exactly a year later (February 2015), the audience got to witness Nigam playing the lead role of a young emperor Ashoka in the historical drama series Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat. For his performance therein, he received immense fame and critical accolades, that led to him winning the Zee Gold Award for 'Best Actor Debut - Male', the Television Style Awards for the 'Most Stylish Debut - Male', the Lions Gold Award, the Indian Telly Awards for 'Best Child Actor - Male' and the Indian Television Academy Award 2015 as the 'Desh Ka Ladla'. In 2016, he even won the Golden Petal Awards for being the 'Favourite Child Actor'. This was his career's break-through role indeed.

Later that year, he grabbed the role of a young Shivaji in another historical drama named Peshwa Bajirao, which aired on Sony Entertainment Television.

Next year, he portrayed the character of Bindusara (the son of Emperor Chandragupta Maurya) in the Star Plus' show Chandra Nandini. It was in this show that his real-life's elder brother and actor Abhishek Nigam debuted on the small-screen for playing the role of Bhadraketu.
