MUMBAI: According to Manit, fashion has always been much more than what he wears. He said, “Fashion, for me, is a holistic thing. Wearing trendy clothes is just one aspect of it. Fashion is about how you carry yourself and what you carry is not just clothes. You carry your inherent style, the way you talk, feel, respond to things, and how humble you are. Several things contribute to your unique sense of fashion and style.”.
Manit has never allowed his choice to be dictated or governed by everchanging trends. He said, “I like to dress up. I never forget that I am an actor and I do a lot of things for the audience. It’s not that I don’t dress up for myself, but when I make a public appearance, I need to look a certain way. After so many years, I know what suits me. Personally, I never get pressured by what is trending. If you see my dressing sense, it’s simple like my personality. There is no harm in experimenting, but keep in mind that it should come naturally to you.”.

He added, “I am particular about what I wear. My mantra is simple and comfortable. I experiment a lot with pastel colours. The material and fitting have to be good. That is what I look at while zeroing in on a costume.”.
About the accessories, he revealed, “I don’t like wearing too many accessories because I believe that we accessorise ourselves to hide our identity and I don’t like to hide my identity. I am comfortable in my skin. I like to wear a simple watch and sometimes glasses.”, he signed off.
