MUMBAI: Actress Rinku Singh, who has been part of film Dream Girl and shows like Tera Kya Hoga Alia, Baalveer, Meri Hanikarak Biwi and others, has bagged her next.

According to our sources, Rinku has been roped in for Sony Entertainment Television’s upcoming medical drama titled Dhadkan.

TellyChakkar exclusively reported about the show sometime back. The show will be set on a backdrop of a hospital and its doctors. A group of 4 to 5 cast members will play prominent roles is what we hear. Interestingly, Sony TV also had a show called ‘Kuch Toh Log Kahege’ on the backdrop of doctors.

Talking about Rinku’s character, we hear that she will play the role of a catholic nurse who has faced lots of rejections and is considered to be not so good looking.

Our sources inform that the show is expected to go on floors by the end of September or beginning of October.

Apart from Dhadkan, Sony TV is set to launch India Waali Maa and has other shows in pipeline like Nine Months, Swatchh Bharat and Gul Khan’s new show.
