MUMBAI: TellyChakkar is back with an interesting update from the world of television.
We’ve been updating our readers on several upcoming TV shows.
Recently, TellyChakkar exclusively reported that Zee TV might soon launch a one-of-a-kind music reality show. (Read here: Shaan, Himesh Reshamiya, Bhumi Trivedi, Neeti Mohan, and others to be a part of Zee TV’s Indian Pro Music League? )
We also informed readers that the show is likely to be inspired by the cricket tournament Indian Premier League. The show will have around six teams competing with each other.
Now, the latest buzz is that the show will also have a set of popular singers from reality shows who will be a part of the six teams. As per sources, reality show contestants like Kunal Pandit, Chetna Bharadwaj, Hargun Kaur, Revanth, Hemant Brijwasi, Kushal Paul, Jyotica Tangri, Rupali Jagga, Sumit Saini, and Rituraj Mohanty will be a part of the project.
Allegedly, the members of the teams will be a mix of acclaimed singers from the music industry, semi-known singers, and new participants. As per our sources, the show will not have judges. The judgements will apparently be passed solely by the audiences. The makers will conduct digital auditions to hunt for talent.
We couldn’t connect with the singers for a comment.
Moreover, we couldn’t reach out to the channel’s spokesperson for a comment.
Stay tuned to this space for more updates.
