After a struggling period of seven weeks at Majri, a small village in Punjab, Roshni Chopra finally, emerged as a winner on Imagine’s Desi Girl. Subsequent to all the politics, games, back-biting and tasks, Roshni survived and emerged victorious. She was chosen by an audience poll against the two finalists- Kashmera Shah and Ishita Arun.
Extremely contended and overwhelmed by the viewer's response, Roshni’s happiness knows no bounds. “I am super excited, super happy and super emotional,” says the winning beauty. She further adds, “At this point of time I really want to go back to Majri and share my happiness with all the villagers there. However, I cannot, as I am flying to Phuket for a show today.”
The stunning lady just can’t stop praising the show and speaking about her experience. She says, “Desi Girl had a wonderful concept. It was an incredible opportunity for me to connect with the ‘real India’ and also, with myself. After being pampered for life, it was a challenge for me to survive for seven long weeks at a village.”
Speaking about her future projects, Roshni says, “God has been really kind to me. I have lots of television offers. Also, I am doing two films- one is Vikram Bhatt’s Phirr, where I play Rajneesh Duggal’s wife and the second is an international project for the internet with a social cause attached to it.”
The gorgeous actress is blessed with a golden heart too. It seems that Chopra is willing to sponsor education for the children at Majri.
