Sa Re Ga Ma singer Twinkle makes her film debut

One more TV actress bites the stardust. Twinkle Vajpayee, the singer who won many hearts with her looks and husky voice in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is all set to rock the big screen with a new Vikram Bhatt film called Haunted. TellyChakkar stumbled upon the pretty singer-turned-actress at the launch party of the movie. The singer, who tried her acting skills in serials like Ghar Ki Laxmi Betiyan and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, has also changed her name to Tia Vajpayee! “I am extremely proud and happy to have got this opportunity. I play a lead in this movie. This is the first time a horror film is being made in 3D,” says Twinkle (oops! Tia). Adds Bhatt, “She had approached me to launch her music album. When I saw her, I liked her and thought of casting her in my film and that’s how she joined the cast of Haunted.” Haunted also stars Mithun Chakraborty's son, Mimoh.
