MUMBAI: Leaps being introduced to give a push to TV soaps and proceed with the drama ahead has become very common. For the same, there are many dramatic situations introduced where some characters are killed off and a few take the drama ahead.
There are sequences where a situation of a bomb blast is used where characters are killed off.

Sandhya in Diya Aur Baati Hum
Sandhya in Diya Aur Baati Hum dies after which Suraj is not ready to believe the truth and Bhabho goes into trauma. The show went off-air after a good run.
