Sanjay Gandhi: You can’t take working with Nia Sharma and Geetanjali Tikekar lightly

MUMBAI: Making a show is a team effort and it is the entire team of a show which makes it successful. Actor Sanjay Gandhi, who is part of Naagin 4, says that he is blessed to be working with such established actors such as Nia Sharma and Geetanjali Tikekar in the show. “Naagin is a very big show. When I came to know that I had bagged it, I felt responsible to make the show a success. All the actors are wonderful. I realized that I had to be very careful while performing as everyone is great at their job. You can't just take working with actresses like Nia Sharma and Geetanjali Tikekar lightly. Vijayendra Kumeria who is playing my son in the show he is also a wonderful actor. My director is also so passionate and so wonderful. He gives me a wonderful briefing before taking the shot,” he says.

Talking about working Geetanjali Tekekar, who plays his wife in the show, he says, “I was a very big fan of her once upon a time when she was in Kasautii Zindagii Kay and I told her also on the set that I was her fan. I am really blessed that I am working with her. She is wonderful co-actor and we really relate to each other as husband and wife on the set. She has a beautiful nature and is so supportive,” he says.

Ask him how the audience are liking him on the show, and Sanjay says the response has been fantastic. “It has been wonderful. I have got some wonderful reactions from abroad through friends of mine. They are watching my show in UK and Canada and have sent me some pictures also. They loved my performance in the last episode where I shouted on Vrushali Parikh, my on-screen wife. The scenes are written so beautifully and so it's my job to perform them well,” he says.
