Sasural Simar Ka
‘We want our set back’ is a slogan that the cast and crew of Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka have been singing out loud these days; courtesy their never ending outdoor shoot. A few of the cast members (Dipika Samson/Dheeraj Dhoopar/Avika Gor/Manish Raisinghani/Aadesh Chaudhary) have been shooting outdoors for more than a month now which has caused them to miss their sets frantically. As seen so far, the current track is based on Ramayan hence, most of the scenes are being shot outdoors (location: Madh Island). As per a reliable source most of the actors have been requesting the creatives of the show to end the plot at its earliest but that’s not happening as of now as it is getting a good audience response. Let’s see what the actors have to say… When contacted Manish said, “Yes, we do want to get back to our sets (in Mira Road) as we love the Bharadwaj family and the a/c on our sets. Here we have been shooting under the blazing sun for over a month now. How we wish that Ravan would gift wrap Sita to Ram and let us go back home happily (smiles).” Aadesh Chaudhary too confirmed the same and said, “The heat is driving us all crazy (laughs).” We also tried contacting Deepika, Dheeraj and Avika but they remained unavailable for comment till the time of filing this article. All we can say is that - acting is no cake walk.
