Ace Bollywood choreographer Geeta Kapur is all set to get groovy again, as a judge in Zee TV’s DID Supermoms (Esselvision).
In a chat with Tellychakkar.com, Geeta spoke about the show, participants and about her recent accident case.
“It’s like homecoming. It’s always good to be back in a space which is so comfortable to work with. This season’s participants are amazing. Firstly they don’t look like mothers and the kind of dancing is very different. We expected basic dance but we saw some tremendous trained dancing. It’s very easy to deal with mothers as they are very understanding and have faced possibly everything in their life,” she shared.
The show is about mothers, so how important a role has your mother played in your life? “She mostly sits at home really upset with me as I am not with her most of the time. But when I go back she will still keep my dinner ready for me and love me. So all mothers play a very important role in their children’s life. After my mom the second important lady in my life if Farah ma (Khan). She is my mentor, guru and friend.”
You were recently involved in an accident, can you talk about it? “The Mumbai police did their job very well and they are handling the case. We are still trying to get lot of other clarifications so you guys should give us some time,” she clarified.
Is there any guilt factor? “Everyone feels bad as no one does it intentionally. When accident occurs they are mishaps you don’t want them to happen. I am just glad that whoever was injured has been taken care of. Had I not been taking care of that person then there would have been a guilt factor.”
All the best Geeta!!!
