Monalisa plays the leading role in the role of Mohini and in an exclusive conversation with TellyChakkar, she shared her experience shooting for the show.
The actress mentioned, “This show is very different from what I have done so far. This time, my look is also different and so are my powers. I can hypnotise too! Whenever I get an opportunity to work with Gul Khan, it is exciting as the way she presents the storyline and the way she introduces every character keeps the audience hooked to the storyline. I must say that it is these characters that go on to become epic in their own right.”
She further added, “Gul mam always tells me not to go through physical transformations too as she feels that I can adapt in any role comfortably and can carry it well. It is truly a compliment.”
Shamshan Champa is the story about Champa played by Trupati Mishra who on a dark, scary night, running for her life with a basket of Champa flowers is chased by masked men with mashaal in their hands, Champa trips and falls. These men attack Champa, leaving her bruised and unconscious under a banyan tree. Just when all seems lost, a mysterious shadow heals her wounds.
